This year sees the return of the 2011 Edition of the BACC Business Networking Day. This will take place at the Argentine Ambassador`s Residence in Belgrave Square.

For the first time ever, the Spanish, Italian, Argentine and French Chambers of Commerce in Great Britain co-organised an international Wine & Chat event on 17 November which proved very successful with 200 guests attending.

There will be a working breakfast with members of the Mission from Argentina on Politics, Education and Trade on Tuesday 26 October.

The two Business Networking Days took place on 13 and 14 October which gave opportunities for exploring strategic business opportunities, meeting key contacts, updating information and shaping deals between Argentina and the UK.

Lord Browne (Managing Partner Riverstone Europe LLP), Tony Lamb (Head of Latin America Unit UKTI) and Luis Scoffone (VP Alternative Energies Shell) were among the speakers of the two days.
The event had the support of: CARBIO (Camara Argentina de Biocombustibles), Maison Buenos Aires, Andes Energia plc, the Argentine Embassy in London, Gaucho Restaurants and UKTI.
 

On the 14th of October the BACC is organising a Business Lunch at the Argentine Ambassador’s Residence as a closure activity of the Argentina UK Networking Day that starts on the 13th of October and that will be followed by the Argentine Embassy’s investment Seminar on Renewable Energies during the morning of the 14th of October.

The speakers for this event were Sir Michael Rake (Chairman - BT Group), Dr Fernando Sedano (Manager of the Argentine Investment Agency PROSPERAR), Mr Zeev Godik (Founder and CEO of Gaucho Restaurants), and Ms Joanna Lees (General Manager of the Grain and Feed Trade Association). The event took place at the Argentine Ambassador’s Residence in London.
